The Locilento Family 8/14/22
If you follow me on facebook or Instagram, you might have seen my sneak peek of my most recent session with the Locilento family in Sunbury, Ohio! This family was so fun to work with and I am so thankful for having met them.
On my way to this session, my GPS stopped working and I had gotten a little lost. Luckily the road I was on was just around the corner from the beautiful Locilento family home and as I drove down their driveway I fell in love with their gorgeous property.
The lighting was fantastic (photographers love overcast days) and as I got closer to the house, the ideas started flowing.
I met the lovely Jaykelen, who I had reached out to when she was looking for a photographer. She showed me around and introduced me to her husband and hilarious in-laws. Everyone was so nice and relaxed, it was almost as if we already knew each other! Everyone had a great sense of humor and a chill approach to the pictures. They all knew exactly what they wanted and communicated what they envisioned for their pictures with me which was such a great help.
The shortest session i've ever done
After getting through all the group shots, I was able to do a small “Micro Session” with Jaykelen’s sister-in-law, Alyssa and her little family. This was literally only about five minutes, but I got these beautiful images which I am so proud of!
When we wrapped up the session I was so sad to leave, I wanted to keep taking their pictures! But I left and found my way back home to start my after session workflow. (Backup images, save them to my laptop and import them to lightroom.)
Well, as I was saving the images from lightroom, my old dusty laptop finally kicked the bucket.
I know, every photographer's worst nightmare!
Luckily, Jaykelen and Alyssa were so sweet and patient with me after I explained to them what had happened.
Once my new computer arrived (i’m in love with this thing) I was finally able to finish the images and deliver them.
I hope the Locilento family enjoys their pictures for many years to come. This is probably one of my favorite galleries I have ever created!
