I make it no secret that I love creating a boutique, fine art experience for families whose schools choose me as their photographer. Helping children express themselves through the art of photography is my passion and I am also passionate about giving back to schools. I consider my services to be purposeful, personal and professional.
I only take on a certain number of schools a year because I dedicate an entire week (or more) to each school. This minimizes stress for everyone involved, most importantly the little ones get to spend more time in class than they would waiting around on a normal picture day. Keeping it Simple
I get asked a lot if I provide props and setups. The short answer is "yes", but I prefer as little distractions as possible. I feel that a too busy background and ginormous props take away from the beauty of the subject. All this being said, I do love making fun, artistically curated setups.

Do you charge schools?
I do not. I am very dedicated to giving back to the schools I photograph. I provide them with free teacher and staff headshots as well as free composites and a 10% donation of my final sales. If teachers have children at the school, they will receive a 30% off coupon for their first order.
Schools also receive a free digital file of each student for yearbook and advertising purposes.
What is "boutique fine art school photography" to you?
Fine art to me means an artistically curated concept without pulling away from the natural beauty of my subjects. My images will be unlike the same blue backdrop and overexposed flash we have been forced to be accustomed to.
A boutique experience to me says, "superior customer service" and that is what I am for in my business.
How Does All of This Work?
Once your school has signed a contract with me I will begin preparations for "Picture Week(s)". I will handle all questions and communication from parents so teachers and staff can focus on their duties. Schools typically book 3 - 4 weeks out so this is when I will visit the school and drop off picture day forms and gather rosters so I can keep track of who I am taking pictures of.
Two weeks before picture days begin schools will send out their picture day forms. This is when I will recruit my parent volunteers to help (if requested by school).
Within 2 weeks your personal gallery will be delivered to you via email, the school will receive a free image of each student for free for marketing and yearbook purposes. Parents will be able to order prints from their galleries for two weeks after which galleries will be deleted from the gallery hosting platform and backed up onto a hard drive (twice.) After this period I will no longer be able to open up printing packages.

How Many Students can you accommodate?
I have worked with schools as low as 60 students and I personally feel as if I can handle more than 1000.
Are these images expensive?
At this time my packages are comparable with other companies offering the same service.

What gear do you bring?
I try to keep my setup very minimal. In the case where a school just wants a simple backdrop and no setup, I will use either a natural background or a neutral background with natural light as my main light source. If I cannot use natural light or if it is too dark, I will use my flash with an umbrella to help. If I need to, I bring my own backdrops and stands for everything.
Do you take parent volunteers?
Yes! If parents would like to help out, please message me or check the box in the picture day form.
