This list is just some of the great places you can shop for your next photoshoot!

While there are tons of options for clothing stores around us, I feel like these smaller owned stores need some love, too! Ditch Amazon and Shein in favor of these cute little boutiques and resale shops in your own city!

The Farmer's Daughter on Main and Vine - Mount Vernon, Ohio

Don’t let the name confuse you with the other Farmer’s Daughter on Main which is located in Utica (and is also a cute little stop), but today we are talking about the small and sweet boutique in Mount Vernon!

I have personally bought from them and had such an amazing experience going in and looking at their unique styles and trying on all the dresses. With their wide selection of styles and sizes there is truly something for everyone no matter your vibe.

The Sydney Collection - Delaware, Ohio

Another small and sweet boutique, this one is just for the women!

This boutique focuses on a boho-chic style with plenty of neutrals that will make your heart melt. Their story is amazingly sweet as well and I highly recommend looking at their website for the full story, but here is a snippet; “our online boutique is charity driven, every item sold will benefit a local charitable organization in some capacity. Our goal is to create charitable awareness while offering unique items to enjoy.” This is another store I will be returning to!

Wildflower Resale - Mount Vernon, Ohio

If you are looking to lower your carbon footprint and not sacrifice on quality, Wildflower Resale in Mount Vernon offers a wide range of designer brands for less than you would spend at the department store. They are always stocked up on denim and purses and during Prom Season they have SO. MANY. Dresses.

Uptown Cheapskate - Dublin, Ohio

Another great option for those that like thrifting! Uptown cheapskates model is similar to Once Upon a Child, customers can bring in their gently used clothing in exchange for cash! The company frequently gives to charity and they are all about lowering their carbon footprint.

If you are going for a more casual approach, or just want to show off that you are a proud Buckeye, this is the store for you!

From the website: “Where I’m From was created to help people celebrate the places that have shaped them into who they are today. We want to honor that pride and heritage with the highest quality materials, creative design, and attention to detail.”
